Starting October 26, 2026, Microsoft will no longer honor custom CSS positioning properties used in Microsoft Entra ID company branding.
Organizations using custom CSS positioning properties in their branded sign-in pages will need to remove or redesign those customizations before the retirement date.
Retired CSS properties include:
• position (including top, right, bottom, left, and z-index)
• margin (including all margin variants)
• transform
• opacity
• overflow
• filter
• pointer-events
• clip-path
• mix-blend-mode
• translate
After October 26, 2026, affected CSS properties will stop working, and branding elements like logos, images, and text may revert to their default placement.
