One of the most needed retention capabilities is finally here!
Until now, Microsoft Purview could only apply retention based on when a file was created or modified, leaving behind countless untouched files that still consumed space and cluttered search.
Now, with retention based on “When items were last accessed,” admins can automatically clean up content that hasn’t been opened in ages.
