Starting June 2025, Microsoft is updating the prerequisites for sharing cloud flows in Power Automate.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠?

Today, you can share a flow with users outside the environment it’s created in. After June, that’s no longer possible.

If a user isn’t a member of the flow’s environment, they’ll hit an access error – even if they’re a co-owner.

What should you do?
✅ Review your shared flows
✅ Ensure all collaborators are added to the environment where the flow resides

This change enhances environment-level security and governance—something many organizations will appreciate long-term. But it does require a proactive review to avoid disruptions.
